About this game

Gem Fusion Lab is the thinking player's merge game on a five-by-five research table. Drag matching gems together to fuse them into rarer stones — each fusion tier doubles the score, and the lab keeps sprouting fresh raw gems to test your planning. With twenty-five slots you have room to build multiple fusion chains at once, but the spawner is patient and relentless: hoard too many singles and the table locks up. The endgame is a beautiful crisis — every drag matters, every empty cell is treasure. Chase the mythic crystal at the top of the ladder and see how long you can keep the lab breathing. The winning doctrine is zone discipline. Strong players divide the table into a staging area for raw spawns and a build corner where the ladder climbs, and they never let the two mix — a high-tier stone stranded among singles is a wall that chokes the spawner's space. The doubling curve means one tier-six fusion outscores dozens of small merges, so patience is literally exponential; but the lab punishes pure hoarding, and knowing when to cash a chain early is the real skill. Your table also persists between sessions: close the tab mid-crisis and the lab is exactly as you left it, welcome-back banner and all — a research project, not a coffee-break round.
