Ink Trail hands you a brush instead of a joystick. Sketch a route from your hero to the goal band, then watch them sprint along your line while sweeping hazards patrol the field. The obstacles oscillate on readable rhythms — the puzzle is drawing a line that threads their gaps at exactly the right beats. Short, bold routes are fast but risky; long, curving detours are safe but slow. Each level adds another patroller and a little more speed. It is a game about planning under pressure: the moment your finger lifts, your fate is already drawn. Literally. The masters play it like billiards: before drawing anything, they watch one full patrol cycle and count the beats, because a hazard's future position matters infinitely more than its current one. Your hero runs the line at constant speed, so line LENGTH is your timing instrument — add a deliberate S-curve to arrive at a crossing half a beat later, or cut a corner to arrive early. Redrawing costs nothing until you commit, so sketch, read, erase, and only release when the route feels inevitable. Finger, stylus, or mouse all draw the same honest line. Every cleared level banks coins for signed-in artists, and deep-level runs own the weekly board. Plan like a cartographer; release like a gambler.
